Les Demoniaques
Directed by French cult director Jean Rollin, Les Démoniaques is a stylish hommage to the old serials, spiced up with strong violence, a steamy blend of eroticism and a completely original touch of fantastic cinema. The film is stunningly shot by the late great Jean-Jacques Renon and Pierre Raphs beautiful score evokes a strong sense of melancholia. The ever growing army of Rollin-fans agrees that this is one of the director’s greatest achievements, a unique piece of fantastic cinema that will continue to stand the test of time.
Two beautiful young women are washed ashore at night on a remote island and encounter a group of savage beachcombers, who rape and kill them. But the girls return from beyond the realms of death to claim their revenge, aided by a sinister figure who lives in the ruins of a giant cathedral.
However, the evil beachcombers appear to have an ace up their sleeves and prove themselves to be sadistic opponents.

Requiem of a Vampire
Many fans consider Requiem for a vampire as one of the best films by French cult director Jean Rollin. This strange mix of surrealism, eroticism and horror manages to cast a tantalising spell on its viewers, by use of superb photography, wonderful locations, a haunting musical score and last but not least the sensuality of the two highly memorable female leads.
Two girls, dressed up as clowns, are on the run. For whom or what we do not know. At last they arrive in a remote castle, where they meet a vampire and his servants. The vampire is the last of his breed and driven to melancholia because his decadent empire is crumbling before his feet. But he has plans with the two girls: they have to join him and his following...

La Morte Vivante
Living dead girl was made at the time when bloody slasher films and ultraviolent zombieflicks were in fashion, and director Jean Rollin served up a very bloody movie, highlighted by gory SPFX courtesy of Benoit Lestang (The Fifth Element).
But despite the intense bloodletting, Rollin manages to tell a tragic and compelling tale about the unusual friendship between two girls, who share a love for each other that goes beyond the grave.
Catherine Valmont (Françoise Blanchard), recently deceased, is resurrected when a strange chemical substance is spilled into her tomb. She tries to track down her past life and discovers a huge castle, inhabited only by her mourning childhood friend Barbara (Marina Pierro). The two are happily reunited, and when it turns out that Catherine can only survive by drinking blood, Barbara gladly helps out by supplying human victims. But when Catherine becomes disgusted by her own lust for blood, things are bound to go terribly wrong.

Lèvres de Sang
Levres de Sang is one of Jean Rollin's most lyrical films; he calls the script "the most personal I have ever written". The French maestro indulges in his fascination for sexy female vampires, eerie cemeteries and atmospheric urban landscapes, but above all the film is a tragic, melancholy love story with a highly provocative twist.
Frederic (Jean-Loup Philippe) is haunted by childhood memories. He remembers visiting a remote castle at night, where he meets Jennifer (Annie Brilland), a beautiful and enigmatic young woman dressed in white. When he asks his mother (Nathalie Perrey) about this, she tells him he's raving. But Frederic starts to investigate his past and meets Jennifer, finding out that his family has been plagued by an ancient curse. A terrible drama from long ago is casting its shadow towards the present…

La nuit des Traquées
A two disc digipack with slipcase and a 32 page full color book! Limited edition in Encore's superb "Jean Rollin" series of only 2.000 pcs!
La Nuit des Traquées is an exceptional work, even within Jean Rollin's enigmatic oeuvre. The film doesn't feature the director's usual ingredients like vampires and lyrical atmosphere, but has a very realistic and chilling touch. Rollin also manages to include creepy echoes of the Second World War in his utterly compelling and highly melancholic tale of doomed love.
Ona cold dark night a mysterious blonde girl is seen running around in the woods. It's Elisabeth (Brigitte Lahaie), who has escaped from a high-rise prison, where people are kept who have been contaminated by an environmental accident. Their thoughts, memories and emotions are slowly eaten away by disease, turning them into sad, helpless creatures. A young man (Vincent Carder) has fallen in love with Elisabeth and tries to help her escape. But the clinic's henchmen are ruthless...

Le Viol du Vampire
When the May Revolution raged through the streets of Paris in 1968, a very peculair movie became an overnight sensation. Le Viol du Vampire, a genre movie directed by an unknown filmmaker called Jean Rollin, had just been released with unexpected commercial success. Its free-spirited combination of avant-garde filmmaking, vintage American serials, pop art and erotic vampire movie proved
a popular combination in Parisian cinemas. The police even invaded a cinema where the film was shown. Afterwards, a huge riot started between filmgoers and the cops! Almost forty years later, Le Viol du Vampire/Rape of the Vampire has lost none of its naive charm: it's still a crazy, compelling, and utterly original blend of styles, which bears all the trademarks that Rollin's later movies became world famous for.

Le Frisson des Vampires
Le Frisson des Vampires is a classic Jean Rollin movie. From its freaky pop soundtrack by Acanthus and stunning lead actresses Julien and Dominique, through its erotic and lyrical scenes at the cemetery and up to its poetic conclusion, the film oozes the kind of atmosphere filmgoers have come to expect from the French maestro. This picture is a true time machine: it brings one back to a period when European filmmakers dared to cross all boundaries and fantastic cinema had truly mesmerizing quality.
Newlyweds Jean-Marie Durand and Sandra Julien spend their honeymoon on the countryside and visit a mysterious castle. There they get involved in a series of strange events: it turns out that the castle is inhabited by vampires. Especially the female one (cult actress Dominique) has some special plans for Julien...
